DaJanae and her artwork being honored at the awards ceremony
This year IMSA West participated in the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s annual “Healthy Reasons To Say No To Drugs” poster contest. Fourth and fifth graders from around the city paticipated, and IMSA West fifth grader, DaJanae Foreman recieved honorable mention. This young artist was one of 12 other Indianapolis students chosen to be featured in IMPD’s annual “Healthy Reasons To Say No To Drugs” calendar. The students selected were also recognized with certificates and gift bags at the awards ceremony downtown.
